It kinda infuriates me anyway, to be honest. Bringing anything back at this point immediately sounds like a terrible idea. It's always a red flag. And even if it's good, it will just bury the really fun old OVA. That always happens, every single time, because shitty normalfags that have infested this hobby only watch the most recent adaptations of everything. The only thing that they appreciate about anime is that it's new. It's just shallow consumption. Keep things that I like as far away from them as possible, and please tell me that it won't be made by fucking Netflix.
In this case maybe I shouldn't care because it's not like Riding Bean is known by that many people, so it's not as likely to be just another "REMEMBER THAT?", but necromancy is necromancy, and necromancers have to die. At this point I'm a big fan of leaving dead things dead and killing series before they inevitably become terrible.
I really like the Riding Bean OVA for rewatches, because it's not that long, and it never gets old. I can get drunk and rewatch that anytime and it will be as fun as the first time. It's a very specific kind of fun that I don't get from most things. As far as I'm concerned, it's already complete and there is nothing to finish. Fun stuff. If the new one is just a remake, I will be absolutely livid.
