>They meet with Aqua, meet the NEET Demon King, Kazuma teleports both of them to the deepest level of that dungeon
>He does the only he can do to defeat him casts EXPLOSION since he knows the incantation of that one and kills both of them
>He wakes up in heaven with Aqua and Eris, he is told that he can either go back to the real world, or remain in the isekai world and fight other more powerful Demon Kings, he decides to remain and as his gift, he picks Eris but Aqua still goes with him.
>It ends with Kazuma meeting with Eris in heaven, she scolds him for dying, to which Kazuma replies that he didn't die, but bookmarked Limbo with his teleport and he an now teleport there whenever he wants.
And that's how Kazuma became Rance.

According to the plebbit post, after volume 6 or so it's mostly original content, with some inspirations from the WN such as the tax collection, other differences are that Hans apparently never appeared, Volume 7(Darkness marriage) happened before first visit to the Chuny village(volume 5), princess Iris was just an off-shot that appeared in the equivalent of volume 6, and was never seen after, no necklace and all that, Wiz and Vanir backstory was never revealed, all the characters are older, Kazuma 20, Megumin 17 and so on. The significant part, is that up until this point the Demon King priestess was WN only, but now she is also in the LN and it signifies the last stretch of the story, it will probably be this volume her defeat and Kazuma goes to level 1, Kazuma, Vanir and Wiz training arc, and the defeat of the Demon King, that is if it will follow the WN. The author has said that the WN is not canon, and the ending will differ, but I hope Kazuma still casts explosion to defeat the Demon King.

I must say this was probably my favorite volume so far, with the second best being volume 10, where they go to NotLasVegas, which was also a Kazuma centered story. This was also the first time he single-handedly defeated a Demon King general, showed initiative and commitment, and managed to be an even grater detriment as her puppet/ally.
