The brilliance of SHAFT is in full display here as, to both hide and flaunt their technique SHAFT saw fit to change the pov of the headtilt. I tell you what, this is a goddamned masterpiece of a series and Creator-san deserves some fanmail. After that smooth, polished last episode, he slams us with inconceivable quality -- I swear, such quality I didn't know was possible, I had to pause and take a break at the 16 minute mark. I remember Ousama Game having its moments, but this has been so stupifyingly visionary I can't help but think Creator-san is a once-in-a-century quality genius. Here I am, comfortable with the quality's pacing, and out of nowhere there's a deep whooshing sound effect for a girl standing up. Just as I feel settled back in for the ride, that fucking Nip bongo sound effect goes off as an imouto claps. Some day I'll be re-watching this to pick up on the subtle nuances of quality missed the first time around, for sure. Dare I say... AOTY. Please let there be 12 full episodes.
