After how Kaosu finally got a manuscript accepted, I thought it would just be farewells forever since they all figured out how to draw better. Instead there was a part that everyone else drew and only those parts were praised. This was pretty much glossed over just to make Kaosu draw a chapter herself. Not entirely sure why this teamwork part had to happen at all.

Side note: having Koyome do things to Kaosu at the start was lewd. Add it to the list of lewd things Kaosu likes.

Regardless Kaosu did have to face her own weakness head on this time and seemed to be swallowed by it. It hurt to see her covered by a bed sheet, unable to draw anything and crying while talking to the editor. I really wanted to give her a hug. At that point it seemed like everyone else would somehow return to save her. They even gave her a chance to just run away when her mom showed up. Many tears were lost on the shinkansen scene.

This show was really good and always something to look forward to. Most of the reason for that is because Kaosu is so easily relate-able. Between autistic noises, lewd tendencies, little to no self-confidence, figures, drawing, a pure heart, and a remarkably strong will she feels like a self-insert and someone you want to cheer on as much as possible. She would make a lovely wife too. My only complaint is that she spent too much time as the observer early on, when the last couple weeks alone have shown she alone can be as entertaining or more entertaining than the rest of the cast.

Theres nothing else airing/has aired this season that is going to come close to getting the better of Comic Girls as favorite this season. Uma musume will be a fairly far away second place.

Every time Kaosu cried, my heart ached. Especially when the dorms were almost moved out of, and her room was emptied of every trace of her friends. Hits close to home. Oh kami-sama, it seems I got a little more attached to these girls that I was aware of. And in this epsiode they did a really good job transmitting that eerie feeling before a parting - when even though you have plenty of time left, the end seems to loom over everything. Because of this I think the show would have been better if it ended up with the girls parting ways from the dorm for good, the happy ending felt a little too forced.

I can't recall the last time I've had an urge this intense to protect something so innocent as Kaosu-chan; This is what life's all about, insn't it? To protect such radiant innocence and secure a bright future for it. To eat its cheek when you're sleepy and effortlessly raise it up in your arms. It has to be. Explain how mpv's interface is not far worse than VLC's for a playlist of audio tracks. I don;t think you can even toggle shuffle on mpv once it's already running.

For video mpv's unintrusive and minimal interface makes perfect sense. For audio, when you want a list of track information with durations, albums, artists, etc. a minimal interface that only shows the album cover and barebones controls is practically unusable.

Kaosu was the best executed insecure character I've ever seen. Her immense cuteness and beautifully cute face just helped to make her even more likeable.

It was however a shame how little they played her character aside from the last, and how she got no fanservice, while other girls got. Since most people who likes this series probably has her as their favorite girl, it certainly took its toll on its popularity.

CGDCT rarely sell well.

Shosekiranking posts daily, weekly and monthly top 500 manga sales rankings.

No Comic Girls volume managed to reach the top 500 in the monthly March, April and May ranking.

It doesn't answer my question, because that pic and its name implies that Comic Girls was quite a success in Missouri, but without context I have a hard time understanding what it means.

It was just the most watched on Crunchyroll in that state or something. Nothing special really.

I have to say I think anime Fuura is not near as good as manga Fuura. She should have been played more "creepy" and less "scary" (i.e. the screams).

And they cut out some good moments, like the previously mentioned nurse outfit, and changing her haunted house visit.

No numbers for that data. There may only be 5 people in the whole state that use crunchyroll. Especially places like Wyoming.

I thinks anons are getting caught up in the small details. Whether it was 5 or 5,000 it at least made the mangaka happy enough to try a picture saying thanks.
