Surprise twist: The show is all about trying to get him to not 'pilot the robot' with 002 so much and keep things to a reasonable level.

The speech scene where he's begging her not to leave was absolutely terrible. And we get this triumphal music when Zero Two decides to cut loose, like this is supposed to be this awesome thing. But Hiro is a lame protagonist, and Zero Two is a horrible person overall, and the only good thing that came of them getting in the robot was their saving a cast of somewhat better characters. This show has some nice robots and combat, and is pretty fun when the leads aren't dragging it down with their convenient plot BS and awful personalities.

When your blood platelet increases, it increases the risk of thrombosis and thromboembolism, not much else happens. Bleeding might be stopped somewhat faster, not proportionally to the increase. My main issue with this show is how ridiculous and not believable the plot is.

From choosing the oni-aids ridden girl that no one with a sane mind would choose just because "but she's so cute!" excuse only a retard would go for.

From the kids just being good little goyim without questioning anything even though they are at an age where most kids would wonder about their purpose, or what happens to the parasites after their service

From not choosing to be a neet after papa told him he could just chill on the plantation without any issues and instead chooses to be sent to the orphanage AKA sent to die. The main character is a huge cuck.

Speaking of which, he just cucks himself for oni-aids random girl he just met, while not choosing childhood best friend. Yes, ichigo is made for bullying, but it's just simply not believable. It's also not believable how dense the MC is.

The show is written is such a forced way too. Fanservice beach episode. cockblocking characters with a fucking meteor shower. Meeting oni-aids girl by mere coincidence, followed by linking with her but yet another mere coincidence that she happened to be launched next to Hiro. all these coincidences for the sake of plot are just a testament of poor writing, and I see people praising the plot because "omg so deep metaphors the robots are flowers/he wants to fly away/etc" basic similees.

The only merit to this show is the nice little attention to detail that makes the characters likeable and have charm, and that's thanks to all the time they burn on screen on fanservice. I want to like this show, but so far the plot is 2player controlled robot needs man semen to run on battery while women pilot it as the "original" concept. The dino enemies are just there because "they're evil menace and must be stopped" and that's pretty lame. The Franxx are more sexually attracting than any of the girls, and that's not a good thing. 02 is best girl by default since the other girls are generic bait.
