This aired a long time ago and really gave needed depth to Fujikawa. It is still a shame she was essentially sidelined to give the red menace screen time.

There has been a pretty dedicated scanlation team working on the manga and the great thing about it is that red barely shows up in the manga at this point. Her only recent appearance that I can remember is a single punchline in a single 4koma.

Thanks for the heads-up OP, I wouldn't have ever known about this otherwise. I always like it when anons make threads for OVAs like this, even if they're for stuff that came out a while back, because I'm dreadful at keeping track of them and would miss them otherwise.

And now it's over-over. Really should pick up the manga, not too likely they'll give it another season.

Never. It was one of the worst in its season. Less than 700 BD's for volume 1 including an event ticket I think. At this point I'm hoping the publisher doesn't pull the plug on the manga. I hope the mangaka gets the courtesy of being told "end it in X chapters" so its not sudden.

It and Urara both made it into the mobage the publisher made, right alongside series like New Game whose adaptations sold very well. Clearly they must think it has at least some value.
