The only humans that I know of that use persistence hunting (wolves, dogs, hyenas and even lions practice real persistence hunting) are the San of the Khoi San.

Honestly when watching the first fight all I wanted the MC to do was tell her to stop going airborne so she could actually dodge, so this MC becomes coach thing sounds good.

I just watched the first two episodes, it has potential to be a fun echi show with a seriously overpowered main character fur stronger than steel. I am curious to see the other animals, what powers tehy have, and what bullshit ass-pull the author will use in order for the honey badger to win. As others have said it would have been better if the male character was a bit smarter and daring taking the role of coach/manager for the honey badger, maybe even going into the other extreme and having him being some sort of Light or Lelouch. Reading as much of the translated manga, as we have (not much), it's at least portrayed in a surprisingly different way than someone like the MC from Dagashi Kashi.

He's spineless and beta as fuck, to the point where he infuriates another character, purely because he's such a cuck that he's just flat out letting HItomi pick the moves, in the "board game" they're playing.

Also he hangs with Otakus, and isn't even trying in class, as seen in episode 2.

That being said, yeah I'd prefer something like, pardon how fanfiction tier this'll sound, but:

Well, as much as one can judge a show in two episodes, in all honesty this seems like the sort of show you watch two or three episodes of, then watch the rest 'in the background' while doing some other shit, while mentally earmarking certain scenes for 'later use'.

Yet all the same, I found myself actually actively watching it with some degree of mental involvement, which is much more than I can say about these WWE-tier 'deathmatch' shows. That is to say, I didn't fucking hate it. So my gut feeling tells me this has some potential if it doesn't get repetitive.

My dick feeling is, however, entirely for this show. I'd do unspeakable things to Honey Badger. I'd love to give her a tongue bath after each match.

600.000 years ago was when the Homo heildelbergensis evolved into the Neanderthal in Europe and the Sapiens in Africa.

This is well known, they had a common ancestor and were very much alike.

After him, we have the Australopithecus, in Africa, a step beyond in its evolution - the human evolution would continue in Africa then, with both the Homo erectus venturing outside of it to Eurasia and then becoming extinct and the Homo heildebergensis, which came after him doing the same, but this time leaving the Neanderthal and Sapiens as offspring, and probably the Denisovan also. Also, the Hobbit of Southeast Asia may have been a descendent of the Homo erectus, but we still don't know that - the Denisovan may have had contacted and admixed with them also, but we don't know about that either.

Ok so I watched the whole thing.

Technically it went in the lion pen on purpose, fought with the male by trying to rip his balls out (signature move... the thing always go for the balls), got caught in his mouth, half-ripped the lion face off and got away without a scratch. The next time it did that, the lions were ready for it and the whole pride immediately mauled it and left it for dead.

Also the reason he was trying to get in the bedroom is to kill the old man, it tries every chances it get.

On camera they have 2 males routing 4 hyenas, the third honey badger (female) DOESN'T GIVE A FUCK and figures 2 guys are more than enough to take on 2 hyena each (each hyena being 4-5 time bigger than the badgers).

It's also dreadfully smart, one learn how to climb into a hive pedestal (for beekeepers trying to find a way other than poison to keep them off) by watching another one FAILING and figures out how to climb on it in one go on first attempt.

Also that's the documentary from hell.

1st day set up to film the outdoor kitchen raid.

Honey badger would rather raid the lounge (new loot), somehow start and destroy a spare camera, chew the cables and fuck some equipment.

2nd day set up to film the garbage dump.

Honey badger is much more interested by fucking up the new things (topple and eat the lights, chew through a IR GoPro despite those things being built like tanks, they call it a day find badger size holes in the hiding tent where they were shooting from, luckily they didn't let any gear there).

3rd day, tourist show up, people are drinking and talking loudly around a fire, crew figure it's a bust...

Honey badger are not well documented and after seeing that it's no mystery. It's a pain to observe in the wild (since it's curious it will try to destroy anything new to see what is inside) and it's a pain to keep lock up (and it has the exact same terrible ability than his cousin the skunk).
