Haven't checked it out because I feared they might have done something like that. Kind of ruins the emotional aspect of the whole first fashion show being a hail mary to save Amamizukan, but I can't fault the producers for wanting to give a semblance of an ending. Speaking of, the manga's is kind of rushed as well but in a way that at least tries to tie all the knots. Mejiro-sensei's reveal is kind of cheap but it's really funny how he looks like Iessu from Saint Young Men.

Well he was the closest thing the series had to an antagonist for the longest part of it. Also I'm fairly sure he just wanted stability for his sons' careers instead of them going on non financially secure fashion shows. At the very least they didn't end up with a definite ending on which one of the brothers succeeded in taking Tsumigi's birginity.
