Couldn't think of a good, informative and unbiased or most fitting role for religious studies though. Thought of using Hakurei Miko.

Not bad. Although I would have suggested Kanako instead of Rinnosuke for Economics. Then again, Kanako's enterprises have a history of failing terribly, whereas Kourin at worst gets duped by Reimu.
The second faculty of physics probably could be replaced by a faculty of magics under Patche.

An atheist is not only biased against every religion, they are most likely ignorant about them. No desire for religion would mean there is no need to study any in great depth.
>>60844
While Kanako's business strategies, would normally probably work well, she applies it to religion which she really shouldn't. Rinnosuke I figured to be the most normal, level-headed person to go with. He himself runs a shop, and is familiar with other merchants, even friends with a few (such as Marisa's father). Unlike most 2hus, he's in a rather good position to pay attention to general current events around the village, doesn't have any significant eccentricities that would distract him, and his half-youkai nature would give him an advantage in the time he's spent in the field as well as relations and negotiations to and between humans and youkai.
I wanted to slip Patche in. She certainly would've been a better fit than Chiyuri, but I didn't think of it at the time. I had already filled that slot and was trying to think of a good chemist. Great fit, seeing her usage of magic and holding the belief that magic and science are the same.

But then a religious person is biased to their own religion. Therefore you've solved nothing.
>they are most likely ignorant about them
Sounds more like you're biased against atheists to the point that the idea of a theoretical atheist teaching a theoretical class about religion offends you.
>No desire for religion would mean there is no need to study any in great depth.
You know so little about atheists and your lack of any empathy for atheists that you can't even tell the difference between an atheist and an anti-theist.

Sakuya is not a theological scholar, has no practical experience related to religion, lacks an ability that would serve a purpose for one, and has no other indication of being suitable for the position in any way. Even a biased Hakurei shrine maiden would a better fit due to the nature of Gensokyo and their clan's relation to it. Go cry about your atheist persecution in another thread.

You were concentrating solely on her being an atheist, not her qualification, so I assumed you had a problem with her just because she was an atheist. Sorry for hurting your feels man. Then again, seeing as how she's talked to every god and has had tea with them presumably, she's not as unknowledgeable as you try to portray her as.

>That describes like half the list dude.
I thought I chose some rather good fits, seeing as most of the 2hus chosen are qualified by their nature, ability, profession and/or personality. The only shaky fit in my eyes is probably Remi, but she's the only one of less than a handful of people who would know English and be good enough to teach it. Hence the frustrated look on her face.

I didn't say she knew everything, just that she isn't as unqualified as you say. Also, Kanako would use the class to indoctrinate the kids and she'd only know her perspective while Sakuya would have heard many perspectives and would have her own, completely separate opinion.
>I thought I chose some rather good fits

Yet she claims to not believe in any gods. Would you want someone with that much dissonance teaching? No. The graph is missing a section for student disciplinary administration, which Sakuya would fit in more.
Sakuya knowing most of the gods informally doesn't mean anything since there are two better candidates for that reason alone, and Sakuya wasn't present in any of the main series games from 10-13, when religion played an important role in the story.
Personally, I think the choice is obviously Yorihime.

I doubt Yorihime could be arsed to educate filthy earthlings. Reimu would be a better candidate - she knows that most of the gods really don't give a fuck about mortals so long as the faith flows, can't be too biased because she doesn't even know the god of her own fucking shrine,

Reimu could go in either Religion or discipline really, but I was hesitant since Reimu doesn't even know the name of her own goddess.
Any thoughts on the mascot? Cirno felt like the default, but maybe there's someone better suited for the role. Thought of Shanghai for a bit, and Clownpiece after I posted it.

Well, maybe she'd do it if Eirin asked her as a favor.

The mascot should be a super popular meme-tier 2hu, so Cirno is perfect. Flandre would also be acceptable.

Just fire up gimp/paint.net and delete the background layer before making the image. You could use the magic wand tool to select the background and delete it even after you've made it, but some pixels have their color blended to match the background before you deletrd it so for example the text in >>60840 has some white spots that you can see over the characters. I could've cleaned it up by retyping it, but I'm no good at recognizing fonts.
When you're done with the image remember to save in png.

I was gonna do this, and I usually do, but then I remembered an addon I got for paint.net called "black and alpha" that turns white into see through so I just used that. But MOST important is that you save it as a .png. .jpg doesn't save black space.
