An unexpected guest! I saw a rabbit around my house!
I stepped outside with my dog and there was a rabbit near the side flower garden that runs along the sidewalk leading to my house. When he noticed us come out he hopped away to the neighbor's yard. I just had a weird dream. Me, a good-looking news reporter and a crazy and honestly scary clown (possibly Kefka) were the three main characters of a bullet hell game of sorts. The news guy was actually flying around with all of his cameramen and even the table that he sits on, though rather than shoot at the damn boss he just kept asking me why grown men like video games about cute girls dodging lasers. The clown just kept getting progressively weirder as the dream went on. Early one, the clown's face turned into a pretty realistic one, strange since characters in my dreams are usually 2D or some weird mix. Anyways, by the time the news guy lost all of his lives and I broke his continue button with the force of my will, the clown just decided to jump into a pit of lava for no reason and kill himself. At the end of my journey, I was faced with a fusion of Renko and Aya as the final boss. She wasn't hard at all so I beat her pretty easily and once I did I "woke up". While still in another dream I searched online for any traces of either Renko or Aya but apparently I erased all traces of their existence. Supposedly, chopping up your sleep into 3 hour intervals throughout the night can help with jewing your brain into producing a more maleable dream. I've never found the time to try to test it out, but I'm sure nobody offering lifestyle advice on the internet would lie. Something like:

By virtue of her reverse nature, Seija tells you lies and falsehoods most of the time, and Yuuka is said to do the same, and her smile actually is reversed because it indicates a quick and painful death.
Yuukari and Yuka are said to be amongst the oldest and most powerful 2hus in the cannon. Both have a mildly sadistic personality and often tease others. Both are guardians - of the Great Barrier and the Garden of the Sun, respectively. Both are said to hibernate during the winter months.
Yukari's connection Parsee is more obscure, but again, both are guardian-type characters that also love to mess with other people. This is notable because Parsee also guards a "border", namely between the surface world and the underworld.
How Kogasa fits into the picture is more difficult. She is the perhaps most miserable of all Yukai because she never manages to surprise anyone. Interestingly, her "surprising" nature is shared by Chen, establishing and indirect to Yukari. She also is defined by her umbrella, an object which Yuuka and Yukari both are often portrayed with as well. How Kogasa fits with Parsee I can't tell.
Also, due to Seijin's reversal gimmick, the pentagram should be upside down, so that Yukari and Yukka - the strongest 2hus, actually should be at the bottom of the pentragrams.

Is there actually any 2hu that is genuinely evil? I mean, Seija is the victim of her nature. Junko just went crazy after seeing her son die. Yukari, also lazy, schemes and manipulates, has the fluffiest underling, likes flashy clothing and looking cool and purple (the cool kind, not the gay kind).
Byakuren is the girl who brings Buddhism to Gensoukyou (huge relevance like the two above), and she's the only lawful good leather-and-spikes biker.
Eirin left everything behind for love. She's also superior to every earthling ever in terms of both cup size and intellect, playing the likes of Yukari and Yuyuko like a fiddle.
Kanako is about the flashiest woman in Gensoukyou. "I can clearly imagine you rampaging." - Miko. She wears a mirror on her massive titties, and a giant rope on her back. Also wants to generate some nuclear energy and be the friend you're kinda wary of.
Sadly, Mamizou can only do little tricks in the human village and sneak around (be careful not to make a sound).

Mamizou can (to my best knowledge) cross the Hakurei barrier more or less at will and her disguises are good enough to fool even other Youkai. Plus, she can always call in Nue for backup when things get to hot.
Compare this to Yuyuko who basically does jackshit sitting around all day, Yukari who is a manipulative bitch far beyond the occasional well-humored prank Mamizou pulls, Byakuren who is "NO FUN ALLOWED" when it comes to alcohol, Eirin who literally is just a big-titted nurse, and Kanako who genuinely does not give two shits about you so long as you're a good little pilgrim and give her faith.
Mamizou would tease you, yes, but I think she also is one of the few "older" Youkai who still has a genuinely human side to her.

I know you're not 100% srs, but Mamizou is tengu-level when it comes to trickery and youkai powers. Every other lady is above that. She's nice, but if you're imagining interactions with pretty 2hus you'll realize almost everyone is nice to their friends.
My point, however, was that Mamizou isn't as interesting as the other old women. There's a lot of depth to Yuyuko and Yukari, for example. Character, backstory, design... The same goes for all the other ladies, but you obviously haven't read their stories. Being nice or crossing a border created by a more interesting girl isn't really that much. I mean, the average girls in human village are probably nice and human-like, too. Maybe they're not as shapely, but that can't really be all Mamizou has going for her.

Kanako probably had a chat with Sanae one day. Sanae mentioned something about nuclear fusion being something that could help people if attained. Kanako then thinks "Hey, I can get more worshippers if I provide this nuclear fusion stuff."
Of course, that would require a lot of time, research, tech, employees, etc. Kanako wanted results though, so she did the next best thing. She beat the shit out of a yatagarasu and decided to shove it into a new host because it should work via god magic or something.
So she looks for a bird youkai with some connection to heat and descends into old hell for her search. She soon finds hell ravens, a perfect match. So she looks around to find the perfect one. One that's a birdbrain. Kanako soon finds Okuu and goes "Hey kid, eat this. You'll get cool powers." Okuu chows down and gains nuclear power.
Kanako then heads back to her shrine to proclaim her success only to find theres no electricity in Gensokyo to use nuclear power effectively. Whoops. Too late to fix things now.

Especially the end is amazing and extremely satisfying to clear, maybe because of the cherry point mechanic. Leagues above SA and the damage per second vs succ per second finale.

Why is IN so hostile in my opinion? It puts humans in a very sad position. Lunarians are superior in every way and have no need for the dirty (translation problems again) world on Earth. That's not something to raise your spirits and self-esteem. It's almost like the realization that the world doesn't spin around us. And even of the now despicable Earth, we only own one half at best: the day. The night is naturally against us, a time when staring at the Moon can drive us crazy, and when the real and unreal beasts lie in wait for someone too cocky and stupid to walk on "The Path Where Humans Vanish". The "realism" part comes in when Kaguya mentions the humans have forgotten to be fearful of the full moon (and by extension, the night). This implies 24/7 lifestyle, night clubs, and late walks in the park are the result of willing forgetfulness. That is, they are lies we tell ourselves to hide the shame of being shitty. You would be disgusted at a stupid and nasty person who compulsively lies about being better than he is. Not forgiving that kind of behaviour even if everyone is involved is "misanthropic realism".
Watatsuki no Toyohime says in SSiB: "And the punishment for the creatures here on Earth ... is to spend their entire lives creeping about the Earth, and finally die." Pretty similar to Schopenhauer's "We pay for our existence twice: once by living, once by dying" and the satyr Silenus' "The best thing would be not to get born at all. The second best is to die as soon as possible". However, I say ZUN's not going full Schopenhauer in IN. That's because IN, despite unearthing some ugly truths, is full of great humor and cute girls doing cute things. That's a plea to feelings, to point out that maybe there's good even in human existence. That good would be the pure girls. Overall, I think ZUN's a pretty harsh judge, but his girls can save a lot from his judgement. A bit like Tomino and his newtypes.
So in IN there's this attack against the whole of humanity, suggesting we are weaklings and liars, and especially against modernity, which seems to amplify these traits, but on the other hand, ZUN points to young girls as a way forward. Why wouldn't he? They seem to be full of fantastic potential. Also, by putting night to a Touhou game, ZUN is saying feeling the night is a good thing.
When it comes to shipping Kaguya, it's Eeteru or go home!

Not that guy, but the entire relationship between Youkai and Humans in Gensokyo has a very idiosyncratic morality where the Youkai effectively have to scare and/or eat humans because:

>If Youkai fade away -> No Gensokyo.
>If no Gensokyo -> humans also fade away.
It's a complicated relationship, but essentially every Youkai (as the manifestation of a certain theme or thought) has the obligation to do exactly that, just like Reimu has the obligation to exterminate Youkai even if they are completely docile like the fortuneteller or that one book Youkai.
Now it would be easy to bring up the Youkai of the Byakuren temple as a counterargument to this, but I expect they're in one hell of a wild ride if they ever meet Shinki.

However, they can also summon devils, but obviously can't breed their own kind by words alone, which would imply there are more kinds of devils.
Koakuma has no entries in any books, but ZUN has confirmed that "devils are a powerful species like vampires and magicians", and that Koakuma is one of the exceptionally weak devils. That sounds like devils and vampires are distinct classes of youkai. Since PMiSS is written from Akyuu's perspective and ZUN commentates from his god-perspective, we should think that references to "devils" in PMiSS are inaccurate, and that while both vampires and devils are youkai, vampires are not devils.
THWiki classifies vampires as devils, but lack of references makes it hard to follow their reasoning further than PMiSS and that ZUN's blog entry.
