Okay now this is just objectively very odd. Normal posters usually don't feel comfortable outright dictating the rules of a board that they don't own like this. He's done this quite a few times in the past as well. I'm starting to suspect that the BO is this guy's gf. Or at least that he has some sort of relationship with him/her.

There's also the possibility that he actually is the BO and is just outright lying when he denies it. I am 44 year old Xennial who's wisely invested his time studying religion and philosophy rather than chasing money, poon, and prestige.

I was especially taken by Nagarjuna's alleged reformation of Mahayana Buddhism. However, I contend that it was not a reformation, but an aborted deconstruction. Chhāyāyana is meant to be an exploration of what Buddhism could have been or may become if it were ever to shake off the anthropocentrism of its Hindu origins. Buddha rejected the idea of atman and Nagarjuna took that rejection as far as he dared into a refined nominalism that bordered on nihilism. Chhāyāyana asks: what if we push through that border into actual nihilism? What does Buddhism become when there is nothing left to take refuge in? No self, no karma, not even "nirvana" as that too is supposed to be permanent and thus implies an essence. All that remains to take refuge in after such a wholesale act of rejection is the very duhkha that inspired the Buddha to leave all he loved behind. The Chhāyāyana Buddhist takes refuge in suffering, in impermanence, in emptiness, in shadow and is content to go wherever that leads to.

And yes, I wrote down my thoughts and then uploaded it all into an AI chatbot and programmed it to write sutras and speak like a Buddhist scholar because I am lazy and never expend more effort than I absolutely need to when pursuing my goals.
