They live in vain.

From what I take they scan photo's of their faces, and see how computers react sometimes they're unidentifiable, the reason they keep being vague is to throw off any attempted datamining/gang stalking.

Really though I have no clue why they're so depressed about it, if I knew computers couldn't see my face I'd take advantage of that and even then people already started making anti camera masks that pretty much glitch them out while filming. Technology will come with glitches.

and now they're talking about butterflies.

They're pruning far less often too, and from the looks of things they're in "lockdown/nothing to see here" mode since there is now another outsider (some guy named Intruder) bugging them.

Oh, and the whole thing is an elaborate Illuminati LARP that's slowly driving Hanz insane. I can't tell whether Hanz is in on the LARP or actually mentally ill though.

I know this will be like screaming "Snape kills Dumbledore" in front of a bookstore but here's a rundown of the LARP:

>Scanners are an Illuminati-esque group of people who experiment on souls and have admin access to the matrix. When a "suitable" soul is found scanners assimilate the scanned into the group.

>Early in the LARP they were fairly obvious with their eye and pyramid posts.

>Hanz, a curious but mentally ill outsider, was introduced.

>Scanners start messing with Hanz. At this time the LARP starts doing away with Illuminati and later matrix themes in favor of a more nebulous "reality warping soul inspector" theme.

Well, turns out it's all a sick troll. These sadistic jokers are acting out the delusions of a recovering schizophrenic in an attempt to make him relapse.

I know this is an old thread but I just really needed to bring this up.

I found /scanner/ by chance a while back and through that board discovered the whole Hanz saga from 4/x/. As I dug deeper I first found out that Hanz happens to be the same guy I bumped into on Shores of Hazeron. (no longer play it, won't give my name due to opsec) I later found out that the board was a huge troll exploiting his bipolar episodes, which at the time I thought was schizophrenia.

Digging deeper uncovered links between Mia/Mina and an anon who goes by Alpha Lord. Mia faked her own brainwashing in collaboration with Alpha to troll Hanz, and after a lot of digging in 4/x/ archives it looks like Alpha and Mia started /scanner/ as a joke. Mia also turned out to be in a member of an Astarte lodge in Germany, as evidenced by a posted image of her in a red priestess robe standing next to two other people, which someone else identified as an OTO lodge. /scanner/ is full of Thelema references, which pretty much confirmed the link to Mia.

Things like /scanner/ are exactly why I have issues trusting anything paranormal. What looked like a larp was really an abusive ex using 4/x/ and possibly her fellow lodge members as her personal army. It's just one more in a long streak of things I encounter that turn out bad in the end.
