If a three-dimensional object passes through a two-dimensional world, only a single layer with width and height becomes visible in that world. The third dimension, depth, becomes lost when a three dimensional object enters a two dimensional world. This is demonstrated here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXngATAQ0m0

Now it is ridiculous to say that because some 'layers' have not yet become visible in that two-dimensional world as the object passes through, these layers therefore do not exist.

If we apply this simple occurence of truth and simply add a dimension, we reach the conclusion in analysing our own existential realm aka the "World" that we are three-dimensional beings passing through, or rather being past through a fourth-dimensional object called "universe" at the pace of one second per second. We live within this object and off of this object, of course.

Applying the logic now of the yet unseen "layers" already existing, it can be concluded that indeed, the future already exists and is pre-determined since the universe's creation.

Is there any evidence that higher dimensions actually exist though? And what would that have to do with the future anyway? The idea of predetermination doesn't require a 4th dimension and is as old as time itself … the Greeks believed that even the gods couldn't escape destiny.

not really understanding your logic at all.

your analogy is similar to how this video represents visualizing the 10th dimension.

but i'll also link to the Delayed Choice Quantum Eraser to show you that the future is not a fixed, single determinant, but rather a fixed range of possibilities which is constantly collapsing into determinate states each moment as reality is being observed.

here is a description of the Delayed Choice Quantum Eraser, which i bring up because it shows that, when we don't have information about an event, then the event itself isn't determinate but a probability distribution. That's what the future is, because the information about its determinate state hasn't yet come to be, so even though the future already exists, it exists only as a probability distribution which each passing moment collapses into a determinate history.

>>PROTIP

Time is not a "special" dimension.

<Magical thinking

>Time has energy equivalence.

>Dimensional space follows thermodynamic law.

>Thermodynamic models of dimensional space have demand for fractional value of dimensions 3<n<3.5.

>>Time is a fractional spacial dimension.

And that means space-time is irrational mathematically but logically deterministic.
