I've got a serious problem.
The restaurant I work at is haunted. The activity is limited to the kitchen and secluded parts of the dining area so customers are relatively safe, but employees have been hit with silverware flying out of racks and busing tubs, glass has exploded in employees' hands resulting in people getting sent home due to hand injuries, and I personally have had recurring nightmares of the Indian in one of the restaurant's murals. The manager believes that particular mural is inhabited by some kind of guardian spirit, so all the aggressive activity waves some huge red flags.
Here's where the biggest problem lies. The activity is connected to an entity that my manager thinks is protective and is very close to, so dealing with it is going to be pretty hard. If I try to protect myself in any way it might use others, particularly the manager, as a proxy against me. Anything too obvious, like a full-blown exorcism, could draw too much attention to myself. And I won't even try reasoning with it. I learned the hard way to never pander to aggressive entities no matter what demands they make, ESPECIALLY if they demand a religious conversion.
