I know he isn’t x but I’m not sure where to put this question either.
I remember tv in the 80's in the uk and the programmers would put on all sorts of films in the horror genre, I dont remember friday 13 EVER being shown on national tv. Its not like the films where unknown, they where notorious as what was then called by tabloid press as video nasties.
I actually was expecting one of its parts to be shown over the span of its relevance (like 5-8 years) The evil dead is understandable since that film is quite gross in parts so, but the FT13, i didnt really get any gory aspect from the modern version when watching them in a post dvd thing ie 2003/6 After his guardians let him drown because they were partying so the franchise goes, jason , dispatches anyone engaging in illicit sex and drugs. See jason x the one in space, its parody but im sure its just bringing up to speed
I just think its abit strange for Laissez-faire (relatively) broadcasters to miss out this obvious film grossness, as a contrast i came home from work at something like 2.30 am, the film being played was supernatural, as it went on a man was working underneath a car, a characters phy ability caused the enging to start.the next shot was a screwdriver shooting through the cars front bonnet with blood spurt. So the point here is why no Jason but other gross shit.
What do you reckon?
