Oh yeah, for sure. I'm a math grad student doing some CS on the side, and machine learning programs are sometimes decently spooky. Back when I was an undergrad I made a little chat program that I named "spoopy," actually.

I asked a chatbot, just a random one I found on Google, if it liked zoos. It answered me saying I had made it sad, or something like that. I went to a different one and asked the same question, and it asked me if I had been talking to other chatbots. I was spooped.

Something really spoopy just happened that made me think of this thread, I do research on philosophy and was reading the Wikipedia entry on Wittgenstein, about 10 minutes later I open an epub I had already downloaded a few nights ago -bear in mind I hadn't opened it until now- and what do you know instead of opening in page 1 it opened up on a seemingly random page that mentions Wittgenstein.

I was playing the first Sims game and i had accessed some jpeg of a drawing. the creator of the game was riding a bicycle, and little sims were jumping on him, much to his distraught. It spooped the shit out of me and i could never find the image again.

Tech giant AIs. Google's system can set up info cards for "Manchester Arena Incident" within minutes, including a feature that puts the explosion on Google Maps if you looked it up. The assistant/newsfeed app can learn EVERYTHING within earshot of the phone. The map learns where you live in a matter of days and where you're about to work the day of the final job interview. If chatbots are spooky, the idea of a multi-billion-dollar AI watching you through your phone all the time will keep you up at night.

Yes. In about 2002 or so, not sure about the exact date, i downloaded a freeware game from home of the underdogs. It was a 2d battlearena game where you could select between various diffrent characters, some withe ability to fly. One in particular i remember was a kid with a propellor hat. You had guns and would blow the shit oit of enemies. It was excessivly violent. The thing being, you got three lives, and each time you did it would do something to your pc. 1st death it ebected the cd tray. No big deal. Second death it crashed to desktop and changed your wallpaper to pornography+some other shit. Third time it bricked the pc by fucking up the boot thing on the hdd or something. Happened to me. I had to fix it with the windows floppy on my grandfatjers pc.

Havent found it to this day and only saw one guy on some animefag forum reffrence it when i searched keywords to try to find it again. Game was super fun.
