So we know that the Freemason have degrees of secrecy within their organization, and we know that their have been many powerful and influential figures in the group. Why is it so hard to believe that those people have plans for the rest of the world?

 No.17580

>>17578

Because you misunderstand the secrecy aspect. Nothing in Masonry is secret, just discreet.

The Earth is actually flat Freemasons infiltrated science a long time ago. All NASA Astronauts are masons. Sir Issac Newton was a mason.

>>17585

>>17613

Don't ask any mason or any one pretending to be one anything, they WILL lie to you, as the lie changes per degree.

 No.17638

>>17613

No. The closest you'll get is one of the pass words in the 3rd degree is slightly different (due to transliteration and origin) in some countries. But it's not something which actually matters, or affects anything.

>>17627

> as the lie changes per degree.

Source?

>The Earth is actually flat

Love those silly threads.

 No.17643

Giving a source would create a paradox.

Sorry.

And the Earth actually IS flat. Which you'll learn in the higher degrees.

>And the Earth actually IS flat. Which you'll learn in the higher degrees.

Naw, the degrees are about knowledge. Stating something so easily disproved would be contrary to the Craft.

Earth definitely not flat. Literally the most retarded thing that people actually believe. In fact according to most historical evidence the people NEVER really believed the world was flat. It was an old sailors tale to encourage people not to sail/travel to uncharted places.

I wouldn't doubt that Freemanons have *plans* for the rest of the world. I wouldn't doubt that OP or Anon has plans. I would doubt that the Freemasons have any more ability than any random people off the street to accomplish those goals.

Third generation mason here.

It's pretty much a running gag about masons ruling the world, especially amongs the younger members.

One time during a dinner me and some other members got really drunk and read conspiracy theories on line for laughs.

I think the next part started out with one member saying something like

> "Oh no, they know! Call Obama!"

Then another memeber whips out his phone and calls a head of state in a completely different time zone on the speakers! (can't tell you which head of state).

> "Hey X! They know! They know masons rule the world!"

HoS groaned as the caller kept reading hillarious claims from the conspiracy sites until HoS loudly told him to "Fuck off! I have to sleep you bastards!"

We got a good laugh out of that.

I still can't hold my laughter whenever I see HoS on TV from time to time, knowing that he actually called us bastards.

Masonry can be fun sometimes.

Why is it so hard to believe that the Oddfellows, The Elks, Moose, or even The Red Men have plans for the rest of the world? Each of these fraternal organizations have currently or in the past secret signs, words, grips, and rituals. Because Freemasonry was the first organized fraternal body it attracted the longest and greatest scrutiny. Considering also that Freemasonry does nothing to stop the speculation of a distant fantasy past does little to silence rumors, and generally adds more fuel to the fire. Contrast that with the Oddfellows, who also came from the trade guilds, where an established date of actual formation is decided upon and speculation is discouraged. Freemasonry is not an organized whole, with many bodies not agreeing with each other, or even recognizing other bodies as being Freemasons. Prior to the great depression close to 1 in 5 adults was a member of one or more fraternal societies in the United States. They didn't join to take over the world, they joined because of an absent welfare state. When the welfare state was created membership plummeted. All those fancy buildings Freemasonry built with money people thought came from a hidden agenda, actually came from the dues of members of this time period. Most of these buildings can no longer be kept up with financially and are now sold off. So much for the power of a secret cabal if it can be destroyed by the ideals of Democrat policies.

I went to a local library. I'm in ohio.

They have an small archive section.

One of the books was literally on the practices and society of the freemasions.

It was a very old book too.

If literature of it has been around so long how is any of it a secret?

 No.31773

I am a mason. I rebuilt a website for a lodge. They asked that i hide their membership list somewhere on their site. Masonry isn't capable of running the world based entirely on the a fallibility of their existing members as well as the come-whoever-may approach to recruitment and initiation.

 No.31774

Free Mason's are just a daycare for low tier politicians, so they can feel important by studying old religions and cultures. It's essentially just child's play compared to the top dogs.
