Yes, it's very obscure. It seems to be working okay as I type this but it's also very buggy and slow sometimes. The code is absolutely awful - real pajeet tier stuff. The full bug and design error list would have more lines than the actual code base.
Another factor is the site's overall reputation. It certainly is absolutely crawling with white supremacists and white nationalists, which I personally like but can understand scaring people off.
