Of course, Western women were captivated too by the beauty of Japanese women, just look at this first picture for example. And back in Europe, the whole Japonisme artistic movement might as well have been a gigantic effort in promoting WMAF love, propagated mostly by women who just couldn't help but appreciate the women of Japan and their culture. French Indochina was also a hotbed of WMAF love.
