If so, maybe that should be a good example of why one shouldn't take on that many projects at once as being active, or at the very least back his stuff up elsewhere (if only just to a USB drive) in case it gets lost? If he did lose the files for SMT if… though, would he at least let someone else take a crack at making a translation patch rather than leaving it tied up like the other thirty translation projects that he's got listed as "active?"
On that note, the fact that Square-Enix is apparently localizing the remake of Romancing Saga 2 (but only the mobile version of course), it makes me wonder if the SFC fan translation will wind up cancelled out of "respect" or whatever for the localization. Of course his webpage says nothing, but he hasn't made a news entry since last June.
You're right though, the complete silence on that, or anything after the 2.1b Treasure of the Rudras patch on his actual site is odd to say the least, and as I don't make a habit of digging around on twitter (I really hate social media) I have no clue what, if anything, he's been up to on the fan translation end since then.
