I was bored yesterday and decided to look up the vore article on Wikipedia when I noticed there was a furry male-on-male vore art comic that was not there before.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vorarephilia
I checked in the Edit History and noticed it was first added on January 6, 2019 - and meanwhile, this article had been around for almost 15 years. It was promptly removed a few weeks later, but was reposted on April 30 by the individual who posted it in the first place. He claims to be the artist, and frankly I am not that interested in furry art to verify, but I am taking it for word that he is. Now I saw a Wikifur link in the article, which prompted me to check that.

I saw the same comic here, and I checked the Edit History to find that he posted this a day after he submitted it to the regular Wikipedia.
I am bringing this up because I believe that this individual is not interested in actually being informative about the nature of vore, so much as he is using Wikipedia and Wikifur as a means to promote his own art and name. I am not going to speak with authority for the Wikifur article/furry community because I am not associated with them, and frankly I am unaware of how well-known this artist is in that community, but my personal opinion is that I believe the Karbo image seen on the article, which has been around for at least 4 - 5 years, is pertinent to the topic without being overtly inappropriate and is a product of one of the most influential and recognizable content creators within the community. And unlike the other piece, it was not put onto the Wikipedia article by Karbo personally, or at least as it seems from a glance in the edit history. And personal taste, but the comic's quality is not that great.
TL;DR I think the artist of the shown comic is abusing the Wiki networks for self-promotion.
