Games that came out during the transition point of console generations and had a different version of the game released on both systems. Some of these were simple graphical upgrades but others were different games entirely with different storylines and gameplay.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent is not considered a good game, but the original Xbox version of it is considered to be superior to the 360 version, the most damning difference is that the lighting in the Xbox version looks and behaves much better than in the 360 version, a crucial aspect for a stealth game.

What are some other games released across several console generations that stand apart from each other?

That shit was only popular on shovelware/licensed games until 7th Gen came around and all these AAA kikes saw another way to nickel and dime.

At least the different versions shit was fine, but dumbing down these game during the transition period is now the norm and it's fucking disgusting.

World at War had the same version for every modern console, even the WiiU.

Yet there was a version made exclusively for the PS2 which was still extremely popular in 2008 and which the PS4 still hasn't managed to surpass despite even less competition from other console companies.

A lot of dreamcast games were like this for the 5th generation of consoles. I can think of F1 Gran Prix and Rainbow Six as the examples that immediately come to mind, besides 2D fighters, which were always better on DC.

These ones are not really transitional, but say more about the power of mobile devices over time and Sony's jewishness, all of the PS3-Vita shared games and later Vita to PS4 ports. A decent part of PS4's library is shared with the vita, with it being graphical upgrades only most of the time. Digimon Cyber Sleuths, Gravity Rush, Danganropa, most of the Vanillaware games on vita, Tokyo Xanadu.

PS2 got a lot of those into the 7th generation, I can recall Sonic Unleashed and COD2 as well being other ones.

Pretty sure it's nothing else beyond Just Dance.

EA and Konami also released PS2 versions of FIFA and PES until 2013 and did Xbox 360/PS3 versions until 2015.

I fucking hate soccer and everything it represents.
