If you haven't heard of Gihren's Greed/Giren no Yabou I can't recommend the series highly enough, even if you have a low tolerance for strategy games, its pretty simple and you get more Zeon fan service than you can shake a heat hawk at.

You want to keep Garma alive? Do it.

Give Ramba Ral his Doms? Well, he just took out the White Base and delivered you it, the Guncannon, and the Guntank on a silver platter.

Want to mass produce the Big Zam for le epin memes? You can do it, stick Gihren in one for maximum catharsis as you gang beam Amuro to death like the Feddie bitch he is.

Feed your inner M'quve by authorizing the mass production of Gyans instead of Gelgoogs. Ride them to victory in the name of Lady Kycillia!

The downside, There is a lot of dialogue and all of it is in Nip, so you either have to learn Japanese or keep a translation open in another tab/printed out as you play. At least the menus are easy to figure out after a while.

Crossfire let's you play a Zeon campaign, but I've heard it has issues.

Crossfire/Target in Sight is very clunky control-wise and the Zeon campaign is the more tedious of the two since Zaku's (and Goufs, sadly) suck in this game and you don't get a good MS until the Dom, whereas Feddies start with GMs. The game is good in that it has a varied selection of MS, with Zeon capping out at the Kampfer and Federation getting the Gundam Alex iirc. All in all there are better mech sims, but this is more for fanservice.

Yeah, I haven't played much of it. I only played to the point you get a mission against a guntank emplacement, then I got distracted and completely forgot about the game.
