>Dell and Alienware have unveiled a new portable gaming machine it is calling Concept UFO. Demonstrated during its Dell Experience press conference at CES 2020, the Alienware Concept UFO is a handheld gaming device which is powered by one of Intel's 10th generation Core processors, with an 8" screen, and detachable controllers.
>A lot of speculation has been placed on Alienware's Concept UFO and what the driving force behind the CPU and graphics. Alienware has confirmed that the 8" Concept UFO is using an Intel 10th generation Core processor, although they aren't detailing which model.
>When pressed on the graphics performance, Alienware didn't specify but made a very tongue in cheek comment about it using Intel's latest graphics processor. With Intel having demonstrated their first Xe dGPU, the DG1, at this year's show as well, there is some degree of speculation that the Concept UFO could be an Xe concept device. Running counter to that, however, is that there's no indication that DG1 will be shipping in 2020, which would make this a concept device for hardware that won't be ready for another year. Either way, Dell and Alienware are staying mum on the issue for the time being.
Will i finally be able to play Wolf Girl with you one the go? Or better yet, Dwarf Fortress on the go. Of course in exchange for 2,000$.

Those joycons look hideous and uncomfortable.
I'd say just buying a GDPwin would be a better investment. Yeah it won't be as good as this thing but at least your friends won't have their hopes killed when you pull this thing out and tell them it's not a Switch.

It's an unfortunate and "necessary" evil. There needs to be a custom firmware that can run all of these games that are being made with Windows 10 in mind. Hell, just un-gimp Windows 10, remove all the ad/spyware and all the other garbage in it.
But no one will do that so it's still something you have to do on your own.
…
Until another update rolls in and you're removing the candy crush spyware all over again.

I wonder how much Intel paid Alienware to make this. Surely those kikes are jealous as fuck that AMD has PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series xXxX420xXXx and that Nvidia has the Switch.
It will come out just in time to run PC games at 720p 30fps when PS5 and Xbox xXx420xXx are pushing 4k and 8k.

There is no market for a hybrid PC like this. AMD tried it in 2014 with Project Discovery, and the only thing that came out of that is arguably Nvidia and Nintendo copying that.
Switch only works because it has bing bing wahoo, pokeymans, and princess link. There have been countless PC and android hybrid and portable gaming devices and they all fail.

>Will i finally be able to play Wolf Girl with you one the go?
No, because it's not a computer sitting between those controllers, but a screen that is streaming the gameplay from the computer. This comes with all of the horrible problems associated with streaming gameplay across short distances. To play that on the go, you would have to carry the computer in a lightweight backpack or something.
>Or better yet, Dwarf Fortress on the go.
Anon, there aren't any computers that can play Dwarf Fortress anyway, because Toady is too busy flying around and giving talks about being an indie developer to do things like fix non-functional mechanics that have been in the game for 6 years, or implement basic multithreading, while people who are dumb enough to try and play have to spend an hour before playing just disabling features across various files to increase performance.
