When I was 12 I got gta 3 for the PS2 and I spent years doing nothing but driving around and messing around the map after completing it. Worth it.
I've done the same shit with gta online and it's the one regret in my life. The driving isn't even good, only the bike physics are good, and they make them nofun by killing you if you drop from too high or go upside down while touching something, and there's no reason to use any vehicle but the single most overpowered vehicle currently out.
Even if you just want to have fun and don't care about being a tryhard, that doesn't matter, other people are still going to use it, with or against you.
>try to do PVE mission
>your team is either a level 1 10 year old who doesn't know how to open up the text chat
>a nigger on the same level as the child
>some guy inside an armored vehicle that makes him immortal
>a player with 1000 hours in who's literally insane because he still doesn't understand you can't leave a vehicle while it's reversing because you'll get run over by the door, or who still doesn't know the game is a cover shooter, and has been dying because of that for YHWH knows how long
>try to do PVP mission
>get exploded with cheats
>if you react they poz your game such that you're disconnected from your lobby, it keeps trying to find a lobby, can't, and you have to reopen it
>Literally worse than crashing which is what they did previously
>if that doesn't happen, the mission makes you drive an unarmored truck while the people attacking you can use fighter jets off the radar
>if you download a cheat which can detect cheats (cheating is the best anti cheat in GTA 5, you can make other people's cheats not affect you or kick them), you'll find between 30-40% of people in a lobby are doing it, and the statistic becomes 70%+ when you only consider those attacking randoms
I found a way to have fun in this game Beyond glitching bikes to ramp up buildings. I play gta 5 just to grief. Not the retarded "run around with currently overpowered thing killing people" definition of griefing that runs around the game. Classic griefing. I have many stories of this.
>criminal mastermind challenge (do every heist without dying with the same team, takes 2-3 days if you don't poopsock)
>look up reddit teams doing it
>join one
>on the very last mission, steal a traffic car and ram it into a team mate's car as he's besides another team mate
>he squashes the team mate besides him and gets credited for the kill
>he gets blamed by the 4th party member and the guy he killed
>claims he got hit by traffic
>they're still mad at him for not minding his driving when it's so important and we had run through how we'd do stuff safely
>after a literal hour of shitflinging, with me stoking the flames obviously, the team forgives him
>we agree to restart the challenge and take a break
>take 2 day break
>on the very last mission of the 2nd attempt, before I could do my thing, the same guy fires a grenade at a team mate by accident (you can't team kill with guns), and gets caught in his own blast
>everyone is mad at him again
>after more shitflinging everyone unfriends each other and leaves
And that's how I wasted a week of my life making 3 people waste a week of their lives.
