It actually is an action game? Not sure how to feel about this.

On the one hand, I like SRPGs and I'm sure longtime fans of the series will be disappointed, but on the other we really do need more action mecha games and SRW already exists.

They only showed a small part of the battle system, with any luck there will be at least some strategizing to the game. It'd be pretty dumb if you control one person and have the rest just run behind you for the entire game.

The Yakuza studio guys were part of the production team since the team botched Azure Revolution completely so they just straight up asked guys to help them make the correct action decisions in design. They should have fucking done that earlier with their Shining Blade and Shining Ark games.
