I still have my Mario and Zelda watch games. The Zelda game was hard as balls.

>>16695095

I had one that looked just like this, but it was a TMNT one. It confused me as a kid because I wasn't familiar with the comics at all, just the cartoon, but they all looked like Raphael.

There were always a few tank games on it. I liked that one that was a two lane racing game and you had to either go left or right to avoid the other tanks.

I played the HELL out of Donkey Kong Jr, it was a blessing in disguise that the toy store was going out of business, so the toys and videogames were dirt cheap. A friend had Parachute from the Game and Watch series, same mini Game Boy. I also had a ninja one that could never figure out what you were supposed to do, it was a 3x3 grid but with houses in each block, other ninjas chased you around. My sister had a non-Disney Little Mermaid one, it was easier to understand, just evading the enemies and grabbing the three treasures for a bonus, it was quite fun.

Got this exact one for Christmas 2000. Absolute shit even back then. That same Christmas I also got this one Hot Wheels car that had a tiny screen on the bottom with a couple buttons. It was much better.

Someone post the Pakistani McDonalds commercial for the Sonic handhelds.

Also, obligatory “What does the Doug button do?”

I had a few of these growing up. My fondest memories were of Karnov, and a Frankenstein game that ran across two screens decades before the DS.

The kindly people at the Internet Archive have actually put emulated versions of a bunch of these games up online: https://archive.org/details/handheldhistory
