I've been keeping tabs on this shitshow for a while, since it was announced when I was back big into Gwent that is before Gwent realised that it wasn't supposed to be the unironic best CG of all time, and instead self immolated and forgot that it was supposed to be Gwent but man this fucking fiasco.
I'll give you a downlow of some highlights I remember. I don't have all the proofs with me because of a bricked computer, but you'll have to trust me where needed because it's legit.
>The source material is aimed the young male demographic (if it was nipland, it'd be the border between shounen and seinen to give you context). It's not GoT tier, but it's nowhere near your average spiel. It deals with a lot of complex issues in more comlex ways, such as racial disputes being between completely different races on top of humanity, political disputes between warring nations and philosophical issues as Geralt does his Witchering. Unlike most other series however, things are usually unique. On one aspect of the racial factor, humans took over the land in place of elves, which in turn are stiking back at humans - only it's not another colonisation-of-burgerland clone, since the Elves did nearly the exact same fucking thing to the Vran milennia before to a dramatical irony tone. It's complex and grey.
<The director chosen is a (((Hissrich))) an old-middle aged, hyperfeminist woman. directing a show whose CV is made up of writing one episode of Daredevil, co-writing two more, supervising/co-producing a few other non-action series and fucking/having kids with a greater jew. Despite what she says, don't believe her lies, her sweet little lies her comments on what she believes each characters motivations are indicate she's speedread the source material at the very least, has definitely not played the vidya at all and has discarded all other material such as the comics.
>Geralt in the books is supposed to be a decrepit, pretty disgusting looking, stringy guy as a result of the mutations he's underwent. He's a miser, mostly a cynic, whines about the world more than a kid in his edgelord phase and isn't exactly a fun guy to be around for the most part. He's got postive qualities, don't get me wrong, but most are based off of principle and not personailty. His monkier 'Butcher of Blaviken' is as a result of him straight up slaughtering a bandit gang while on guard duty for a magicman. After the magicman sees him, he threatens to kill the guy if he stays around.

She in turn learnt magic and gave herself the closest thing to magical plastic surgery possible, making herself even more pale (considering she was supposedly pale from the getgo) and her ideal embodiment of beauty

The black colouring isn't as much a style choice, but also a punishment; enouraging the soldiers to stay North or East wih invading armies as oppose to patrolling and defending the desert-climate regions (such as the Magne division, a literal military punishment which involved patrolling a desert border) and also to instill fear.
<So the show literally dresses up the soldiers in overly-detailed wrinkle armour and in hats that look like black foreskins because Hissrich and her gang thought it would be funny to have 'the embodiment of toxic white masculinity' dress up as big black dicks.
>Witcher gear is pretty ramshackle and formed moreso on the road. Geralt, being from the School of the Wolf, and being in the North usually wore a variety of gambeson, and though he did indeed drop/lose the second sword for parts of the books for assorted reasons, he usually had two at once - but he never had a 'uniform' outside of his glowing medallion
<So they give him one sword, and some neat and trim leather armour that looks like the Nlifgaardian Viper armour from the games. And his medallion doesn't glow. Or look like the Wolfs head as described in the books.

I've read all of Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser. It's a great read but very pulpy; if you were expecting a sophisticated and deep fantasy world, this isn't it. It's more like an allegory for the real world as a canvas to write satire. They even travel across planes into ancient Earth at one point. Very amusing though and well written for what it is.

Like a lot of Pulp stuff, most of the genre was poorly thought out and chunks of it were conceived off drug trips by boomers who couldn't be imaginative without some form of synthetic magic. Moorcock himself is guilty of this, though only once if I recall.
Elric is fine enough, even great at many points, but it stands alongside Vampire Hunter D and other similar works of pulp fantasy. Authors eventually wanted a return to the old way of things where you had sweeping character arcs and tear-jerking drama, but now with "realistic" characters who were more relatable than interesting. That's when everything fell apart.
But Moorcock is by no means one of the pillars of literature. Stevenson, Herbert, Lewis, Asimov, Doyle, Christie, Lovecraft and of course Tolkien–these are pillars of genres, people whose very existence utterly defined their respective genres and laid the very bedrock foundation of most of what we have for our contemporary Western literary canon.
Moorcock is more like Hideyuki Kikuchi or Stephen King or William Gibson in that he's a very important and noteworthy name whose work or style directly inspired (ie was ripped-off wholesale) by innumerable other bookshelf sitters today. We appreciate their work and skill but ultimately if they didn't exist someone else would've just taken their place, which is pretty much the case for every pulp writer.

Asimov had some really neat concepts in science fiction that I've never seen explored anywhere else, and I've found a lot of his stories to be quite interesting. Things like the civilisation being old enough that nobody really knows what planet humanity came from are cool ideas that lend uniqueness to the story. I wouldn't discount him entirely like that.
That said, I am reading with a critical lens, and his Jewishness definitely shines through in a lot of aspects. Most blatantly to me was that in Asimov's future world everyone is an ambiguous brown mystery meat, race mixing is inevitable silly goyim accept it! There are other more subtle things but you can spot them easily when you see them.
Another thing which I find funny probably comes from Asimov's autism more than his Jewishness, in that every character talks like a certified physicist, no matter who they are. A lot of conversations are weirdly unnatural and full of science jargon, even when one of the characters is just a regular guy. I find it odd that he doesn't understand how people talk to each other while at the same time he seems to really understand people's mannerisms, like the expressions they make when they are awkward or trying to hide something or suppressing annoyance.
Anyway, that's just my two cents on Asimov as I saw him mentioned in this thread and I've been reading some of his work recently.
