I played it through and absolutely hated the kind of lazy humor it had. Most of the jokes were funny and the characters weird enough to keep it interesting, but holy fuck was it spoiled by constant meta and blooper reel material. I have no idea why the fucker that made this wanted to keep so much of the failed dialogue in. I guess it's cool now or something, but I'm old fashioned and think that you should aim to make the best product you can, silly me. The meta jokes and unintentional laughing in the middle of monologue just made me want to stop playing.
To the games credit, there is an absolutely amazing bit where Trover talks about what his old band sounded like, it goes on for about 3 minutes and it's just pure gold. But obviously it's cut in the middle by faggy laughter. The bit would be amazing, but spoiled by the lazy shit not giving enough of a shit about his own product.
George Carlins ghost is going to rape me for mentioning him here, but I have to make this comparison. How much would of Carlins comedy suffer if he'd stop to laugh at himself in the middle of his long rants about radioactive deers on meth? It would be unbearably bad and make the whole joke less funny. So Roiland is less entertaining than Carlin and stops to laugh at his own funny monologue all the time. If this pisses you off, stay the fuck away from this game, it's full of it.
