There is no PC version of Saga and the PC version of PD1 is the worst version unless you have a $3000 video card from 1995 and also a windows 95 pc. Steam-Heart's is best on the PCE Super CD but it's a simple & fun game with a nice bit of bonus cleavage.

Sounds like you've got the ancient shitty NTSC rip from Emuparadise that has an improperly ripped 2nd disc. That's not an emulator problem, it's just a bad rip. The PAL version has been properly ripped for all 4 discs, that's version I finished about a couple of years ago.

mednafen is very compatible if you have relatively medium amount of processing power to spare - I can run most games at full speed with a factory clocked A6-5400K. MAME/MESS works too but is less compatible (since they're writing the driver mostly for ST-V game support with Saturn being an afterthought; should be easy enough to optimize given the systems are almost identical though)

I would have Castlevania on there as well. It's better in some ways than the Playstation version; better controls, extra character, music slightly less compressed. If you play it on emulator it's the best version.

I enjoyed it.
It is setup like a VN but the battles are turn based 3d. There are a lot of saturn animu games with different gimmicks stuffed in to a VN like this but Slayers Royal was fun.

There's little point in listing games that have superior ports.
Some of the Saturn versions of games that later got ports actually have more/better shit so you should get rid of the ones with superior ports while leaving those in and noting why they're better (Rockman X3's FMVs, MM/RM8's music and additional content, SotN's music and additional content, etc.)

Yes let's just overlook the incorrect squished aspect ratio and the hard rock SNES soundtrack being (((upgraded))) to cancerous elevator/lounge music in the 32-bit ports.
Meanwhile the Win95 port of MMX3 has FMVs in probably the same or superior quality to the Saturn/PSOne releases, and has the same cancerous lounge music soundtrack that can be easily replaced with whatever music you like, just needs to be in WAV format. Still has the fucked aspect ratio but there may or may not be workarounds.
