I have a few issues with Toy Story 4. Not the least of which is de-emphasizing Buzz Lightyear's role and making him more simple-minded and naive like he was in the first movie, discarding all of his character development and growth from 2 and 3.
I'm pretty sure they did it because Jewwywood hates Tim Allen now for being a conservative white guy. I'm sure they would have cut him from the movie entirely if they could get away with it. This made Bo Peep and that purple haired doll's rolls stand out a lot more and not for the right reason either, it's clearly a feminist bias thing. Not to mention Woody being treated like he's naive and out of favor with the other toys just because Bonnie doesn't play with him as much.
