A thread for good boss music. Rock and orchestral music are usually good choices for boss battles. Stranger types of music like vid related are alright sometimes, too.

Not all boss battle music is always intense. Sometimes, it could sound relatively calm or just plain hopeless.

I suppose there's some overlap, but there's cases where it's not strong enough to meet the bill, as well as cases of just plain dissonance between the music and threat at hand.

Dead Rising had some good music in general. The track that plays while you're in the helicopter, the boss themes for the convicts, supermarket boss, hardware store boss and cultist leader boss.

Some bosses do that in bullet hell games. Serene music + Difficult boss filling up the entire screen with projectiles.

Wouldn't say Astaroth is especially hard, though Bright Crest still hits like a truck. Certainly important within the plot though, and warranting his own music.
