>Holy fuck you're retarded.
>1900
>19th Century (century = hundred years)
>the hundred years of the 19's
Were you born in a colon?

>you don't have to reply three times.
I do when I'm dealing with fake "Nipponology" experts like you. You make me sick.
>The Japanese call it the Sengoku Jidai, or "Sengoku Era", so yes, it is its own era.
Jidai was the name of the emperor that heralded in the Sengoku era you moron. It's not Japanese for "era". Era in Japanese is 期間 meaning "period" aka "the Sengoku Period".
>They spent a few decades conquering territory and embarrassing the Russians. The Sengoku era does not include this time frame.
>19th century Sengoku era
>not included in the Sengoku era
This is getting ridiculous. Guess I need to 2+2=4 you now:
The 19's were the 19th century. 1945 is the late 19th century, obviously, and the modernization of Japan began in the early 19th century, which also is part of the latter period of the Sengoku period.
Do you get it now?
And maybe if you stopped behaving like a pompous jackass insulting people then maybe you'd catch a clue and sound more, I don't know, reasonable.
>Meiji was the name of the calendar after modernization, then it changed to Taisho.
Because of the generational gap, you fathead! Like I said.
>People refer to the different times by the calendar names.
They only got tacked onto the calendar because of sociopolitical perspectives to begin with which rifted between the older and newer generation. It's painful having to repeat basic knowledge to you.
>You're fucking retarded
>hurr hurr I know all about Japan and I suck panda dick
I don't have to take this crap from yet another know-it-all git who thinks he can jerk off in a thread like he knows what he's talking about. Where did you study, retardate? JASSO? I'm from MEXT. I know what I'm talking about you autist
