Yes, OP, Crypt of the Necrodancer was great fun and yes the OST was indeed very good. I pirated and played it for quite a while and I have no intention of buying it since I'm not 100% sure what kind of devs the devs are though judging by the art and no real weird shit in the story you'd guess they're fine.
I would absolutely recommend playing it though and I'm looking forward to pirating the next game as well.
Speaking of which all this talk has given me a itch to play the game again, I'm on the last floor with Aria, fucking hardest motherfucking character of the game. I think I'm gonna buy Familyjules7x's remastered album of the metal soundtrack, it's fucking bonkers.

Been playing it. It’s okay.
The way the enemies telegraph their attacks in a turn based system based on rhythm is neat, but at the same time I don’t get why people gave it 10/10’s. The sprite and art work are just okay and can be pretty bad at times. Movement feels more annoying than fun to me, and basing the movement on rhythm can make it slow compared to other roguelikes. Really, I just kept finding myself wanting to play one of the mystery dungeon series.

Necrodancer was not fun for me. I tried to enjoy it, and I do like roguelikes, but it just didn't gel.
And the art for this game is so fucking shit, goddamn. It saddens me some Calarts cunt got to stain the franchise with their shit-smeared canvas. I thought Nintendo learnt from the mistakes of the CDi games.
The OST is pretty good though, I'll definitely download that.

cadence of hyrule is the best zelda game ever made. It managed to be closer to the original than BOTW ever could. An actual open world yet some stuff is locked behind items you have to find. The combat is deeper than necrodancer but maybe a little easier because of the dropping hearts. A 2nd playthrough has enemies doing 3+ hearts from screen 1. The items allow for different approaches to combat. The shield allows for hyper aggessiveness meaning if you get good enough the game can be your bitch. It's everything i've ever wanted out of a zelda game and more.
