If it helps, I'm not so big on the whole cinematic experience shit.

I'd like to just sit down an play the fucking game and not have to walk a few steps just to have the game interrupted by an intrusive, unnecessary cut scene that tries way too fucking hard to be emotional and meaningful only to fall flat on it's face. </blogpost>

I haven't paid attention to what's available on PSN, but the Wipeout HD and Fury games on PS3 were some of the best to come out of that console. I'd recommend that.

looks dope, but I've only tried wipeout back on the ps1, found it difficult as a dumb kid, so I'm a little on the fence, I'll have to try out the newer stuff before I decide on anything

Temtem will be coming out in a few months. It's a pokemon game based around doubles and will have co-op. Dunno if it's splitscreen though.

Helldivers is good. We're currently playing it and enjoying it. Probably gonna be able to squeeze 100+ hours out of it.

We also just finished Magicka 2. Game is pretty buggy and a lot shorter compared to the first Magicka but I preferred the magic in 2. We only had one crash on our first playthrough but as we started playing 4 man multiplayer and got faster at casting spells it started crashing a lot more. Can't speak for the first Magicka but I played it on my PC last month and it's a bug riddled mess there.

We had a lot of fun with Diablo 3. Looking back though it was probably just the novelty of our first co-op game together and we were pretty stoned out our minds for most of it. Gear progression is linear, all builds seem to end up playing the same in the end-game more or less when their builds are done, and end-game gearing (on PS4 idk if it's the same for PC) was just running greater rifts for blood shards over and over and then spending those at the merchant to roll random legendaries. I think we pushed GR78 or something. Honestly kind of meh but polished. No crashes or anything and it's a pretty seamless couch co-op experience all the way through.

if it's emulation there's literal thousands to choose from, and pc has always had a vast selection of fps and rts vidya with co-op and mods to booth
