I am genuinely butthurt you can't use the Let's Go pokeball to control Sword and Shield. That was the best part of those pikachu and eevee games. Feeling it vibrate, doing the throwing motion, and seeing the light flash and hearing the pokemon cry as I caught them gave me a child-like feeling of raw happiness and wonder I haven't experienced in a decade, and now they take it away. And every past DS pokemon has had a one-handed control option that just uses the d-pad and a single shoulder button, there is NO reason the pokeball plus can't be a controller except gamefreak being lazy fucking cunts.

Give it time. Microsoft is in a transitional phase right now, they're basically taking the Xbox brand and changing it from solely a console to their entire gaming division, to meld the Console and PC markets.
Also the ports of the 3D games are probably gonna be a challenge as they're coded for the Xbox 360 and run in backcompat mode on the Xbone.

Ubisoft I didn't watch, but it sounded like it was shit we all expected.
Microsoft was "LATE 2020" and a conspicuous lack of "Xbox One" branding on many big titles. Also the intro was pretty heavily alluding to merging Xbox and PC, but he clearly couldn't say what and when yet.
Nintendo was the only motherfuckers bringing GAMEPLAY.

I know modern Fire Emblem is hated here but I'm surprised nobody is mentioning that the FE leaks have been confirmed true. It means the high school shit is mostly at the start of the game and the rest of the story is closer to old FE games including the former students killing each other.
Also the character designs seem to be a lot better post time skip.

Astral Chain could be really cool and scratch my Armored Core itch. Just from those showcase missions, they've thrown way more at the screen for the player to do things with, and the frame rate held up. But I hate the UI right now.
<Not diegetic, feels like it's just text and numbers on screen. Mecha game UI should resonate with the mecha at least a little
<Weapon box pushes too far into the center, the place the player needs to see the most
<Takes too much space. Remove the words from the weapon box, reorganise into unused corners, cut down word count in general and it's gold. The weapon box could be only visual icons, for instance, it doesn't need the name that badly
This is a buy for me anyway, but I really hope they fix that by launch.
