Problem is the Skyrim ones are extremely heavy.

I know Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim all had such mods with detailed mechanics. But normally the ones I use are just boring "add pink bits" ones. At times though games, by default have things like smoke clouds or bright lights, but under that have hidden secrets like pasties, and in those settings I typically prefer de-censor mods. Most nude mods are pretty low quality, like nude edits in general.

One of the things I dislike about nude mods is the way the corresponding armors are done. Too often they just turn everything into bikini armor. I'd rather they keep the general appearance of the vanilla version, but with tweaks that can reveal the nude body models at the right angle. Things like side-windows around the chest in a dress, or a plate armour set with long faulds or tassets hiding the fact that she's not wearing underwear beneath them.

The in-your-face approach works in some cases (e.g. various tribals, or groups like Fallout's raiders) but usually I prefer it more subtle.

Nude mods are somewhat common but I haven't seen any other games with sex modded in, and I think SFM/Blender have replaced that in the minds of most because you can do whatever you want in those. Games with good porn depends too much on what your preferences; as for myself, I'd say the A Dance With Rogues module for NWN, and Kamidori Alchemy Meister. Good games with porn are hard to find, since most porn games tend to have basic gameplay in order to focus on the porn. Sengoku Rance is the poster child of good games with porn, since the gameplay is amazing and is actually better than most normal games. Other candidates would be once again A Dance With Rogues which is a great city adventure, and The Last Sovereign which is a RPG maker game with decent combat/exploration but great characters and world building.

Model swapping in games isn't that complicated and animation fuck ups occur when the new model doesn't respect the skeleton of the original.

Based on the posts of one of the guys who made one of those mods, the most difficult part was for the skin texture to behave properly since it'd look weird under certain lighting conditions and rain.

In games where clothing is an actual removable item, I always install the kind of nude mod that gets rid of perma-undies if I can. There's just no reason not to.

I've been known to use the sillier kind of nude mod where random girls are just running around naked for no reason if the mood strikes me, but most games I wouldn't want to play like that all the time.
