The objective is getting point by killing people in the most brutal way possible, even with the scenario. You can take a good, put him in a trash can, then empale him with an stop signal, lit the trash can on fire, and then use the nails in the wall to repeatedly hit the trash can against and leave him there. You can hit people with a baseball towards an plane turbine, etc.

The assassinations from Halo Reach are the way to go in multiplayer games.

>exist purely to style on people

>have ground to ground, air to air, air to ground, etc. variations

>very short

>actually kill when the knife connects instead of when the animation ends

>both people can be killed out of it

>can choose not to do them by tapping the key instead of holding it, and the punch will still kill the guy

The other good one was Titanfall 2, because getting a Titan on Titan execution gave you a second to catch your breath and look around you with the third person camera.

DS2 lets you precision cut these green vials in Aldias Keep (and nothing else as far as im aware), odd detail for such an unpolished game

I liked them, but I always felt like they lacked variety. They're cool, but once you've played for a couple of hours you've seen them all. It would have been nice to have a couple more that were weapon specific. Something for the giant hammer, maybe a choke out animation for the sniper rifle, or a stab with the spiker rather than always defaulting to the knife. The energy sword had unique animations if I recall correctly, but no other weapon had them, bit of a missed opportunity.
