Here's what happened:
-THQ owns Relic
-THQ desperately makes Relic create a TPS due to their own financial troubles
-It doesn't do too good
-Fire tons of Relic personeel and then folds mid way into CoH2
-Sega picks them up
-Most of the original staff is gone at this point
-After releasing CoH2 which did alright but pissed off ruskies due to shitying all over commies they hire new people
-They're all millenial Starcraft players, SJWs prone to be low risk and they also can't handle criticism
-Think they can attract both Starcraft and ASSFAGGOTS at the same time while thinking the original/core fanbase will buy the game out of brand loyalty alone
-Outside the initial buzz the core fanbase stays quiet and mostly hates it, the game fails to attract casual players or ASSFAGGOTS players because those would rather stick to ASSFAGGOTS
-The only multiplayer mode is fucking ASSFAGGOTS
-Pre release and after release they barely listen to fan input and just do whatever
-Literally everyone stops playing and leaves
-They couldn't even get a moderate hit and their DLC plans which were leaked crashed in the Baine
TL;DR
Relic has been dead since 2011 and DoW3 was a desperate Starcraft clone by talentless pretensious hacks.
