Are there any games you'd like to see an objective Behind the Scenes documentary about?

Personally I'd love to see something about Dawn of War 3. I really want to know just what the fuck happened, who thought that the design was passable and how anyone could make the design decisions that they did.

Here's what happened:

-THQ owns Relic

-THQ desperately makes Relic create a TPS due to their own financial troubles

-It doesn't do too good

-Fire tons of Relic personeel and then folds mid way into CoH2

-Sega picks them up

-Most of the original staff is gone at this point

-After releasing CoH2 which did alright but pissed off ruskies due to shitying all over commies they hire new people

-They're all millenial Starcraft players, SJWs prone to be low risk and they also can't handle criticism

-Think they can attract both Starcraft and ASSFAGGOTS at the same time while thinking the original/core fanbase will buy the game out of brand loyalty alone

-Outside the initial buzz the core fanbase stays quiet and mostly hates it, the game fails to attract casual players or ASSFAGGOTS players because those would rather stick to ASSFAGGOTS

-The only multiplayer mode is fucking ASSFAGGOTS

-Pre release and after release they barely listen to fan input and just do whatever

-Literally everyone stops playing and leaves

-They couldn't even get a moderate hit and their DLC plans which were leaked crashed in the Baine

TL;DR

Relic has been dead since 2011 and DoW3 was a desperate Starcraft clone by talentless pretensious hacks.

The story will continue when AoE4 releases, thankfully I'm not expecting ASSFAGGOTS anymore since that trend is even less relevant after 3 years.

Also funny how one year earlier before DoW The Third another Sega owned studio created a Strategy game based on Warhammer Fantasy and did good shit with it despite monetization kikery.

Pic related: Realtime World's APB. It was simultaneously the best and worst multiplayer game I've ever experienced. Despite stretching the Unreal Engine to limits previously unheard of and having various groundbreaking customization features that had never before been attempted, the final product was an absolute trainwreck with highly-exploitable and infinitely-griefable game mechanics. The servers shut down within months of launch. I have fond memories of spending long afternoons trolling the fuck out of people who took the game too seriously.

As much as I hate Gearbox, I will fight anyone that says DNF was their fault.

George Broussard wasted over a decade on fucking nothing. He hired people to remake a single level over a dozen times based purely on whatever he played recently. His idea of 'updates' for fans was to show him at the racing track with id software guys showing off their Ferraris. He collected fucking pogs instead of working on the game.

Still pissed off about this. Duke was a huge improvement on DOOM, we could have had tons of excellent high quality Duke sequels made by the same team over the years, instead they became autistically fixated on one game that ended up pozzed to hell with modern elements like regen health and 2 weapon limit. Duke could have been absolutely fucking huge but they completely squandered everything and now it's a complete joke on par with post '06 Sonic the Hedgehog.

Another year? Did you see the game? The engine was trash, all the assets were garbage, the level design was unsalvageable. Even with a good team, which Gearbox certainly wasn't and isn't. You're looking at 3 years as virtually everything would need scraped.

I just hate anything that takes away credit from Broussard. He had THREE different release candidates, and he fucked them all up. The horror stories that came out of DNFs development are absolutely incredible. People hired who were assigned to not even a level, but a PART of a level and having to redesign it over and over and over again for years all because that incompetent fuck played a new game and wanted to steal something from it. There was even a fucking snowmobile level at one point because he played CoD2 and wanted it in.

It was their fault though even if not entirely, instead of cancelling they got the IP, used the brand and outsourced a shitty unfinished mess to some nobodies so they could use the money from the guaranteed sales towards funding Memelands 2.

It's also still their fault why Duke is a pozzed faggot and the fact that he's yet to get another game.

Aliens Colonial Marines and Battleborn was also mostly all on them

Worst thing is that Memelands 3 will probably do well despite all the PR hits they've taken due to Destiny popularizing loot and shooter garbage even further.
