you can play NWN1 online with a cracked copy, but only if someone else isn't using said copy's CD key; I don't know if fake CD keys work or not, but chances are that you can find a keygen somewhere on the internet

to play the game after obtaining a working CD key, you simply boot up the game, probably with windows XP SP2 compatibility mode enabled, and you might have to start the game via nwmain.exe

then, you click multiplayer, input the desired username, and then any password; the password is completely meaningless(account security is from your CD key) and doesn't have to be the same every time

then you wait for it to give the error message and click okay, then you click "Join Internet Game"

then, at the next error window, you click cancel, and from there you click the direct connect button; the rest is fairly obvious

Servers wont allow people that have the same CD keys to simultaneously be in a server. You'd need a keygen to change it to something valid if you want to play online with a cracked copy, otherwise everyone that got it from the same source as you would have the same CD key. I haven't seen a working keygen for NWN diamond though.

NWN doesn't even want to start after I switched to Win10 due to hardware. Got a solution for that? Tried compatibility settings and shit but it didn't work. The game just doesn't boot up but remains a process running in the background.

Most of the remaining servers look to have sketchy rules. I'd sure like to see it living again but it looks like some mind virus took hold over there, as well.

when I played it, the first 4 hours or so, it was just bad design on encounters from the get go. Put 3 Assassins and allow them to Sneak attack your level 1 party to death. The worst offender was just the bottom tier trash AI mechanics they have in place. I'll give a shot to Icewind dale.

is weaponmaster even worth it above 7 (crit increase)? You get bonus to BAB every X lvls but couldn't you get better benefits from taking straight fighter levels for feats
