You click and find numbers. The numbers tell you how many mines surround the number. Then you click away from the numbers.

The number in the square mean that there is that number adjacent to the square. For example in the picture you can see that the number one in corners has one bomb adjacent, and only one adjacent square, therefore the bomb is in that square. Same thing with the two in the corner: 2 bombs adjacent, only 2 squares adjacent, the bombs are in those squares. Or you could play like >>16448022 (Checked) said and keep clicking squares, you're bound to win one of these days.

Klondike Solitaire is shit in the sense is reliant on luck since you have no idea what the cards that are facing down are making it so you can lose a noticeable percentage of games due to RNG.
However solitaire versions such as Freecell pretty much make this a non issue.

I won 27 straight games of free cell before I stopped playing it. They apparently removed every unwinnable deck (but missed 1).
Picross is my favourite puzzle game and there are dozens of them. A couple are gameboy and like a dozen SNES roms. Tried a newish game but it was clearly designed for shitty phones because instead of click filling square and right click being X, you had to click a side thing to select fill/x every time you change.
