I'm in the middle of switching between 3 main games: Factorio, Kenshi, and Atelier Lydie and Suelle
Factorio is great. extremely addicting.
Kenshi is pretty good; im still learning how to play though. theres a ton of depth to this game.
Atelier Lydie and Suelle is pretty good. of the mysterious games Sophie was my favorite, but i did enjoy Firis although the open world was a great idea, but its execution quickly becomes a strike against it. My only complaint about this atelier game is i couldnt help but feel the main characters were cute but pretty shallow; i honestly thought Lucia (a side character) was much more interesting. i cant decide if i liked this or firis better. firis had an ambitious open world that stifled gameplay, and this game feels boring even though it follows a formula i prefer.
who gives a fuck about new games? my backlog is getting out of control and theres still games im """currently""" playing that i want to get back into.

>Assault Android Cactus Plus
Campaign+ mode is kicking my ass but it's making me git gud with characters again, since last I played this game was two or so years ago. Aubergine is still my favorite, Helo and how high of a skill ceiling he has when it comes to the singularity shot is just absurd fun. Grown to like Licorice too.
>Cryptark
The weevil, salamander and infiltrator are pretty fun. I fucking hate spikedogs.
>Albion Offline
Proves to be a pretty good co-op fodder for my brother, also it gives me the chance to go through all my audiobook libraries. Otherwise, it's okay. It's like a mix between Runescape and a solo Aarklash Legacy, or I assume League of Legends because that's what everyone says but I haven't played that. It also has a habit of going on maintenance too often.
Is there any chance Ninja Gaiden 1 through Razor's edge gets ported onto PC, with a half decent port ala HD collection? My Xbox crapped out ages ago and importing is stupidly expensive where I live, and I never got the chance to git gud at NG1, or try 2/Razors Edge.
>planning to do during May drought
Once I'm done with Cryptark I think I'm going to try DMC3. I played 1, liked it but not so much, and I didn't get particularly far into my first playthrough of 3 before dropping on account of sucking too hard. In the spirit of masochism and actually convincing my brother to co-op something with me, I'm considering either Planetside 2 or World of Warships, since the former is supposed to have gotten a decent optimization patch and the latter actually looks like fun, unlike World of Tanks or Warplanes.

I was enjoying Link to the Past but stopped playing once the alternate dimension was introduced. For some reason I felt content with the amount of time I spent on it despite only being at the halfway point. It was a big deal when it was released because it was the only game that was doing that sort of thing at the time, I feel like other games that aped it like Alcahest, Terranigma and Beyond Oasis were much better games. LttPs classic status blinds people from looking at it objectively.

Downloaded a game called Dark Devotion. It's another 2D dark souls (not a particularly beautiful one at that), but with a roguelite premise. You lose any armor and weapon you looted before dying, but finding specific items, completing quests and general progress unlock permanent upgrades such as basic loadout, perks and stats.
The premise is kind of odd. Darkness and monsters besets the world on all sides to the point templars kidnap children, boys and girls alike, to bolster their ranks against the darkness, and the player character is one such girl. Yeah, I know what you're thinking. Muh stronk womyn being a templar. That's the thing though, everyone in not-firelink looks down upon you for being a girl, it seems like an additional reason of feeling helpless amongst endless darkness than anything else.
In any case, she is definitely supposed to be a templar, her main resource besides health/armor/stamina is faith, she replenishes it killing enemies, and expends it praying to God for boons. Given the rarity of templar/faith based games, I think it's worth a mention for that alone.

Even though my friends stopped playing this game years ago, I still enjoy it. Granted, I had billions given to me from money droppers over the years, so that grind was never an issue to me. Makes me wonder how many people would still play it regularly if R* didn't jew the playerbase so hard.

Also started a enter the gungeon run that had a rainbow chest with 7 or so items and guns on the first floor and am now nervous about finishing the run.
I also got added to some normalfag friends discord and am seeing how far I can take edgey jokes on there without being banned. Got mixed reactions with eventually steering a conversation to "the more battle focused sequel to Team sonic racing, titled Team Sonic Race War" but having fun

Got it while extremely drunk. A bit better then Batman: Arkham City in terms of combat but the story is shallow and the boss fights are lame but its actually comfy to swing around the city. Don't regret buying it but its not a remarkable game in any significant regard.

Finished: Halo 5 (Legendary Lone Wolf)
It's shit, but I've already finished all the other Halo games (except shit like Halo Wars) solo on Legendary, so my autism won't let me just ignore it.
Finished: Sinner Sacrifice
A bit janky, but a decent little Dark Souls inspired boss rush with the twist that each time you fight a boss you're inflicted with some debuff (lower HP, lower stamina, less items, collapsing when exhausted, breakable shields, less damage, less defense, etc) - and bosses will resurrect if you try to restore your abilities, with the final boss only showing up once you have all the others defeated - so you have to fight him completely gimped.
Playing: Recattear
CUTE, but pretty unpolished being a Japanese indie. Dungeon crawling is a slog, though it's optional, with the real meat of the game being the item shop management portion. Buying shit low and haggling with customers to get a good markup without losing your first-offer sale bonus. I like how the adventurers you hire to loot the dungeons can come into your shop to buy gear - so you make money by outfitting your characters. Normally I'll have multiple games I'm playing concurrently, but Recattear has had me addicted.
Next up: Resident Evil 2 Remake (gotta make a mod loadout to fix Claire's face and a few other things though) and Tales of Vesperia Remake or Blue Reflection. Not sure if Blue Reflection is any good, but I took a chance since I was in the mood for some magical girl bullshit and I already beat Magic Knight Rayearth.
