Call me crazy, but I think this whole thing is actually going to turn out better than expected.
I can't hate Tommy Tallarico, Doug Tennapel, and people who were willing to fund and greenlight a new EWJ; plus Doug says its ran by "hardcore gamers unlike every other large video game company right now" and says they've actually got a great lineup of games in the works and coming.

They also avoided talking about the Amico's specs and said that it will be "completely different" from the other consoles and that it would be "good enough". That they didn't want to do CoD or Red Dead Redemption, and wanted to focus on gameplay above all else
Earthworm Jim will also be in 2D
And the Amico will tentatively be released in 10/10/2020 one month before the elections; a bold strategy cotton and they'll have a lot more information out for people by next year's E3
