It's pretty fun if you play as Bass.

I didn't like it. I like the original MMs on NES (1 to 6) and I like the X games on SNES, and the Zero games on GBA, but that's it. I don't like the other ones like 7 or MM&B or the X games on PSX.

It's ok. There is some parts that are pretty good, some that are too hard I guess or just kinda shit.

It reuses a few bosses from mega man 8, and has some new ones. I wouldn't suggest playing it before other games in the series though. Better off playing at least a few others first to get a good grasp on mega man games in general. The SFC version was decent, the GBA port was pretty terrible. Which ones have you already played through and enjoyed?

Kind of. The gameplay is good and playing as Bass is awesome. But the levels themselves are incredibly frustrating to play. Be prepared to die a lot because of bullshit reasons. I'd still recommend giving it a try, though. It won't cost you anything except a couple hours of time if you don't like it.

2 of its 8 robot masters are recycled from Mega Man 8. The other 6 are totally brand new + King is pretty badass. Imo, Mega Man & Bass is a must play game like Mega Man V on the Game Boy. Another underrated MM game.

The new Mega Man Legacy collections leave out this game. More proof that it isn't a true mainline title and that it's also unimportant.

I just beat Mega Man 11 and loved it. I played Mega Man 2 via Willy Wars and got close to the end and loved it. I played 7 for a bit and liked it. Have to play more.

The game is designed around Bass's gameplay mechanics and is passable if you play as Bass. But it's garbage for a Megaman game.

It's another Mega Man game. The people who say it's garbage are lying. It's not different enough from the other Mega Man games to be garbage, assuming you like the other ones. That said, you might not think it's one of the best. It's Mega Man 8.5, made for people who couldn't afford a Saturn or PS1 and thus couldn't get Mega Man 8. That said, the cards you collect of every character in the entire series are pretty cool. I managed to beat it as both Mega Man and Bass and I'm not very good. It's hard, but doable. The end of Mega Man 7 was harder.

That games looks like crap.

Mega Man and Bass is fun, especially the last few brutal levels, but a lot of the time the game feels made specifically for Bass in mind. Play him and don't bother with MM.

How do I git gud in the Zero games? Shit just shows up out of nowhere with very little time to react because of the small screen size and it being a game where not getting S-ranks means you miss out on content fucks with me pretty hard.

Played on an emulator in my childhood, loved the aesthetic couldn't get past the first level though, just once I think, all I've played of megaman is the x series though (Up until four)
