It's a fun challenge with minimal handholding. It's a painfully slow game, though; cash rewards are minimal and equipment is expensive to create and upgrade to the degree that grinding is a necessity—and it's not as fun doing it by yourself for dozens of hours.

That being said, I prefer Kokoto to Pokke. It's comfier.

I should clarify that by "grinding" I mean serious hours upon hours of toil and slog which is basically cut in half time-wise in F2/FU (one of those times where streamlining actually made a little sense).

If you just want the Kokoto experience I'd recommend playing MH1 ps2, Freedom unite/p2 does every single other thing other than being in Kokoto better than Freedom 1. Not sure where the download is, I thought legacy downloads were available from ppsspp's site but maybe you'll just have to try startpage. Additionally isn't coldbird dead or something? Just use the cat one unless you want to start sucking dick on discord.

That guide is rather outdated. Coldbird became blackseraph. I suggested trying myneighborsushicat because ppsspp would freeze for few moments whenever I tried to connect to blackseraph, which seems to be your issue unless PPSSPP became totally unresponsive indefinitely.
