The freeburn challenges can lead to to unexpected hilarity. There was a challenge to gather at some place, but one of the players for some reason left his car just outside the area, so 2 players had to push his car inside the zone. Then there are some aggravating challenges, like the one where 7 players need to be between 2 ramps and one needs to jump over the other players, and there's some asshole who is more interested in ramming his car into others than doing the challenges.

It's a good game but it'll feel "slow" if you just came from MW, you can tell the developers watched a lot of Initial-D because all the important races/bossfights are toge races, and the exotics aka the japanese cars are the best ones this time, the RX-7 is practically a cheat car when fully upgraded: extremely fast and handles like it's on rails, in toge races you will always end up winning by overtaking the other guy.

Variety is actually something I really liked Paradise for. Every car was unique with their own model and manufacture, like a Western Ridge Racer. My only gripe about such a system was that if you had a car you really liked from early in the game, it wasn't viable later on since everyone was going to be in the best car of that particular boost type.
Ridge Racer did it better by offering a straightforward upgrade system for every car model.
