I don't see a thread in the catalog that has anything to do with Japanese Sony backtracking on SanFag Soyny. There was that tweet claiming that the recent censorship was the work of two SJWs who infiltrated Soyny America.

Bullshit, we're talking about the same company which killed Vita despite its success in Japan. They actually think that this way they can get even more potential American consumer which would be leftards. Sony pandering to the west isn't even something new, they did it since PS3 which is why they funded shit like TLoU and didn't gave two shits about Japanese games at first, so many developers dropped platform and went to Xbox 360 which also wasn't a bitch to work with compared to PS3 hardware.

But now that Xbox is pretty much dead they have nothing to be afraid. I mean what you going to do, stop buying Playstation and anything from Sony or stop making games for it? According to them you have nowhere to go even if you're a dev and they're partly right, not about you personally if assuming you boycotted them but about the rest people. Some Japanese developers who have no experience with other markets don't want to risk releasing their shit outside of shitstation because they already have established consumer base there, that leads us to the people themselves who will not stop giving Sony their money no matter what, mainly because developers won't release their shit somewhere else so in the end they going to pay for those games and prove the devs themselves right. Sure some devs like Idea Factory migrated to other platforms, but Sony still have many other devs like Atlus for example.

This is the biggest reason why Sony won't do shit, not until developers abandon them because let's be real, we both know that even people on this board still continue to support Sony and will buy PS5, so event like developers suffering from boycotts and moving to another platform has no chance to happen. They know exactly what they're doing and not going to change their course, they've got a lot of developers as their hostages and the only thing you can do is boycott every single game released on Sony platform.

Nothing will change until consumer punish them.

The situation with the "international" policy isnt obviously over, and I hope the JP branch at least tell its cousin branch to kindly fuck off. I dont think wishing Sony to die or going back & forth between vidya publishing companies isnt the answer, when the root of all this comes from the current climate of USA politics worming its way inside american branches. I have no confidence in that because people aren't capable of boycotting, not even on 8ch. In other words, I believe it when I see it. For now I'm pretty sure that it will be successful, mainly because Sony has no competition this time. The only people I'd expect to stop supporting Sony are Japanese since they had more cases of people boycotting companies which tried to fuck with them and those which had no market outside of Japan suffered from it.

For example, do you have any doubt about anons on /v/ buying Persona 5 rerelease on their PS4 and possibly on soon to be released PS5? Personally I do not. I guarantee you that fucking Mark will buy PS5 too.

Won't happen because the Playstation division (Including all of it's foriegn offshoots) all runs through Sony America. And, even then, Sony HQ hasn't told any of it's other subsidiaries to knock it off when they're losing money left and right.
