also for junk station anon, I have an idea.

remove the lavaland prison camp and combine it with the mining base. Make the shaft miners only have access to their area and need ot be let out by AI or sec (optional). Since the idea is that junk station is being rebuilt by a labor force already, the shaft miners could be the convicts that got the short end of the straw and have to mine for resources to improve the station.

I don't actually have a prison mining shuttle because it never gets used and I gimped myself when designing a certain feature aka the morgue shooting bodies into the kitchen. Technically you could copy lavaland or make another map in general and make it an away mission, and then make both the cargo and prison shuttles go to the away mission instead? One thing I think I do want to add later on though is a gas giant Z-level for atmos. I don't plan to add gas miners into atmos but instead have this gas giant planet that has a gas mixing station and a shuttle with some big chamber gas tanks on it. Basically atmos runs around in a hardsuit collecting gases, filters and concentrates them on-site, and then pumps it into a tank for use at the station. Bonus to this, since tgstation has so many more gases I can put every single one of those gases on the giant, in various quanitites according to rarity. Probably put monsters around the tritium though.

Alright, I never used to be that versed in toxins when I played on Pizza and the various codes that /v/ has played on, but I have having a hell of a time figuring out how the fuck to make an optimal or theoretically larger than maxcap bomb on this current code.

According to the /tg/ wiki toxins guide it is out of date and fucked. From my general understanding, the winning theorum for a plas/oxygen TTV bomb is as many moles of cold oxygen (-200c) in one tank, and as many moles of hot plasma (600c~ according to the guide to get as many moles per temp as possible, I end up with about 10 moles of plas at this temp) and then the TTV smashes the gasses together and you get a boom. The guide's formula for maxcap doesn't give maxcap, so I've been fucking around with filtering plas into pure plas with no CO2 or O2 for the plas tank, I've been trying different temperatures/moles, I've been using air pumps to overload 2555~ KPa into a tank in order to cheat more moles, my results are all over the place. The other night I tripped into somehow getting a theoretical 10/20/40 bomb which I haven't been able to create, and earlier I ended up getting an 8/?/24 bomb that had only 2 moles of plasma at super high temp along with a 2555~ kpa oxy tank at -200c (which if I remember correctly has about 23X moles of oxygen contained). Yet when I tried even hotter plas at a 0.X molecount along with the same oxy tank, I get no explosion at all.

Has anyone else been fucking with toxins on this code? I'm entirely lost.

I think this is the main problem, maybe the event system can be tweaked to ramp up with time? Rounds don't end well when the only conflict is people with poor judgement taking it upon themselves to act like fags.

Captain is actually THE only station hand that should be allowed to do whatever the fuck he wants, as long as it follows NT regulation EG don't kill people indiscriminately, don't break server rules. That isn't to say he shouldn't delegate people into jobs or to promote crewmembers into positions that are required, like a lack of cargo techs or engineers or officers or whatever. But he should be allowed more leeway than, say, a department head like the HoP or an assistant, in doing whatever that isn't related to their jobs or assignments.

Besides, self-defense and arresting faggots harming the rest of the crew isn't "doing's sec's job". It's what every crewmate should do. And the captain is loyalty implanted and, by space law, allowed to own all of the weapons he ever wanted at any time while aboard the station.

The only problem would arise is if ALL they're doing is validhunting nonstop, by scrounging maint and halls while not listening to radio to do actual Command tasks, like giving orders when asked what to do or aiding crewmates with access/decisions or resolving petty scuffles.

But, this already falls into the broad category of powergaming already, which is regarded by Rules for Rulecucks as actions that are already punished by the staff anyway. Through public bullying in OOC.
