Consider the following anon; When the whole Sony censorship happened, Atlus wanted to bring over P5R to Switch but couldn't because they where under a contract by Sony to make sure that game stay on PlayStation 4 for a number of years. So their best bet is to bring over the vanilla version of Persona 5 to Switch since it's been 3 year after Persona 5 was released in japan. Also, there are legitimate worries about P5R being censored and/or a censored western release of P5R depending on if Catherine FB's western release is censored or not.
