A TL;DR of the mods: there are about 50 altogether, with most of them being QoL tweaks. The only big content mods are Thorium and, to a lesser degree, WeaponOut Lite.
Another important mod is Reset Mode. It deletes the world every ~40 hours (the timer only counts down while at least 1 player is online), so the gameplay doesn't end post-Moon Lord. You earn progress points (PP) for every boss you kill and invasion you defeat, which are used to buy better gear, and PP is refunded at the start of each new world. So the more worlds you play, the more PP you get, the more of a headstart you get in each world through buying better gear.
